I used to love to see motorcycle cops as a kid, and recently I began to wonder just what motorcycles do police use?

Not just American police officers, but motorcycle cops everywhere. Law enforcement utilizes all kinds of vehicles, and obviously, motorcycles are my favorite.

So, without further ado, let’s dive into the topic of what motorcycles do police use?

Harley-Davidson Reveals the All-New Sportster S

Harley-Davidson’s Sportster S is here to breathe some fresh life into the brand.

The new Sportster S features the Revolution Max powertrain that you’ll find in the new Pan America and is a feet-forward, sporty bike more powerful than the current lineup.

While a new Sportster S is a welcomed addition to the HD lineup, I’m not sure this is really the way to go. It’s not a bad move but not totally the right one. Let me explain.

Harley-Davidson and Rev’It! team up for Pan America Adventure Gear

Harley-Davidson and Rev’It! teamed up to bring a new line of adventure gear to the market.

The standard Harley gear simply won’t cut it on the trails, so this makes total sense.

It’s a smart move by both companies to work together and build a new line for this new bike.

The Easy Rider Captain America Motorcycle

The 1969 film Easy Rider has one of the most iconic motorcycles ever, a bike known as Captain America.

This motorcycle is quintessentially American and, of course, it’s a Harley-Davidson.

The motorcycle features an American flag motif on the gas tank and elsewhere on the bike and a ton of chrome. The iconic motorcycle is ridden by Peter Fonda in the movie, and there’s nothing else out there like it.

The Pan America Could be a Game-Changer for Harley-Davidson

It’s no secret that Harley-Davidson has been struggling lately. That could all change thanks to the new Pan America adventure bike.

The company’s big ADV motorcycle is very different than the bikes the company is known for—big heavy cruisers. The response has been positive from the press, and customers alike.

According to The Milwaukee Business Journal, Harley-Davidson dealers have noticed a strong response from consumers. Bikes disappear from the showroom as soon as they arrive.

2021 Harley-Davidson Pan America First Ride Review

The Harley-Davidson Pan America is a notable step outside the box for Harley.

It’s the company’s first try in the adventure segment, and from what’s out there, it sounds like a hell of a bike.
