A part of Harley’s Icons Collection, the all-new Electra Glide Highway King brings styling from touring motorcycles of the 1960s to 2023. The bike stays true to the nostalgia equation Harley-Davidson has going for it but with some good modern touches.

The Electra Glide Highway King Makes Old New Again

The bike is based on the 1968 FLH Electra Glide model. This means you get wire-spoke wheels, thick whitewall tires, a removable windshield, a classic solo seat, and a two-tone paint job.

The windshield features a different color tinting on the lower portion and the seat has a white accent to it as well as a chrome rail. The saddlebags, should they be equipped are also white.

As for ride and performance, not much has changed. It has the same touring frame, suspension, and engine. That said, the Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-twin is a venerable engine, and one that any touring rider should be happy to have.

The bike also gets electronic cruise control, a halogen headlamp, standard auxiliary lighting, Brembo brakes, anti-lock brakes (linked), traction control, a torque slip control system, and a hold control.

This model will be made in limited quantities. The Hi-Fi Orange will get only 1,000 units and the Hi-Fi Magenta will see 750. Pricing and availability haven’t been announced. However, you can learn more at Harley’s website.
