5 Best Small Motorcycles

As some people know, I’m a huge fan of minibikes. I’m talking about the ones that are not street legal and have a pull-start starter. However, those aren’t the only small motorcycles I like. I’m also a huge fan of mini motorcycles like the Honda Grom. And because of this, I wanted to put together a list of the best small motorcycles.

These little motorcycles are wicked fun, small, and affordable. They’re fantastic for commuting and for having a hell of a lot of fun on the weekends. All of the things that I love in a bike. These small motorcycles aren’t great for long rides and touring, but they’re great for pretty much everything else.

One note here, you’ll not find the Honda Grom on this list. It’s a great bike, but it’s not my favorite. I think there are several other bikes out there worth buying over the Grom.

Zack and Ari Go on a Mini Bike Road Trip

If you’re a big fan of the movie Dumb and Dumber, then you’re really going to love the latest episode of CTXP from Revzilla.

In it, Zack Courts and Ari Henning try to recreate a scene from the movie and do the road trip from Nebraska to Aspen, Colorado.

The episode is meant to see if this epic road trip is actually even possible on a minibike.

Thoughts Brought up While Racing Mini Bikes in Indiana

Minibikes Make Big Fun and Could be the Gateway to New Riders

As some of my readers will know. I raced a mini bike in the Pull Start Racing League this past year. It was a whole heck of a lot of fun, and I hope the guys that put it together will continue it in 2020. As far as I know, they plan to keep it going.

It occurred to me after a season or riding in the league that there are few opportunities like this out there. I did some searching and found some things, but this is a unique experience and one that I think the motorcycle industry should be taking advantage of.

The Ottobike MCR2 is a Usable Electric Mini Motorcycle

Ottobike improves the design of its little electric bike.

Taiwanese company Ottobike came out with its MCR motorcycle last year, the bike looked good and got people interested, but it wasn’t perfect.

Now the company has a new version of the motorcycle, aptly named MCR2.

It’s an improved version of the electric bike in just about every way, and could hint at what most motorcycle companies will be looking to produce in the future.
