I recently pointed out my picks for the best sportbikes out there, but nobody should ride a sportbike without the right gear, and that means having a good pair of boots. So, I thought I’d put together a list of the best sportbike boots.

Unlike cafe racer boots or cruiser boots, you really need to have some sportbike boots that are designed for high performance. These boots should focus on protection and usability on the bike. They compromise less on style and casual usability and are a lot more hardcore. With that said, let’s take a look at some of the best options out there.

I find the Dainese Axial D1 Air Boots to be rather ugly, but they work well, and I’ve included them. The boots also get D-Stone fabric, split cowhide leather, microfiber upper construction, elasticated inserts, a speed lacing system, a gear shift guard, a rubber sole, and a zipper closure system at the back of the boot.

Dainese Torque D1 In Boots

Keeping with Dainese for a bit longer, I have to showcase the Dainese Torque D1 In Boots. These are the best in the Torque series of boots. They feature a nylon heel, reinforced nylon toe, nylon inner hull, magnesium inserts, shock absorption insert on the heel, D-Axial jointed anti-twist ankle protection, and an inner retention band. The boots also have a microfiber upper, D-Stone fabric, speed lace-up system, rear zippered closure, and a suit-to-boot fastening system.

TCX RT-Race Boots

The sportbike race boots from TCX are darn weird looking but they’re also darn good. The boots have a microfiber upper construction, over-injected front and side panel, padded rear flex area, abrasion-resistant microfiber heat guard, fast fit control lacing system, soft microfiber gaiter, Air Tech lining for airflow, Double Flex Control system that allows for easy movement, polyurethane shin plate, zipper and Velcro closure, aluminum buckle and polyurethane-toothed band on the shin plate and around the calf, replaceable insole, and replaceable polyurethane and magnesium sliders.
