ZXMoto’s 820X ADV Packs a 117-HP Triple

ZXMoto has revealed the production 820X ADV, a three-cylinder adventure motorcycle that trades the stacked headlights of last year’s EICMA concept for a wider fairing and side-by-side lamps. The Chinese brand is still building its European footprint, but this machine also appears aimed at riders who want a large adventure bike without the usual price tag.

Type-approval details reported by Visordown point to an 818cc inline-three producing about 117 horsepower, along with electronic suspension, adaptive cruise control, an E-clutch, and front and rear cameras. The report places the Chinese price near €6,100, although taxes, shipping, and local equipment would change the final figure.

Harley-Davidson Recalls 88,039 Motorcycles Over Oil Risk

Harley-Davidson is recalling 88,039 motorcycles in the United States because a blocked breather port can allow crankcase pressure to build. The problem can send hot engine oil out of the filler neck when a rider removes the dipstick.

The recall affects motorcycles built with an airbox backplate that may have an obstructed breather passage. Harley-Davidson says the condition creates a burn hazard for anyone checking the oil while pressure remains in the crankcase.

REZ Industries Turns 2024 Honda Monkey 125 into a Chopper

REZ Industries has turned a 2024 Honda Monkey 125 into the GeeGee Chop, a small-format chopper built in Taiwan for a customer who planned to ride it. The project keeps the Monkey’s original frame and rear twin-shock suspension instead of converting the bike into a hardtail.

That decision leaves the donor bike recognizable beneath the taller front end, ape-hanger bars, and bright flame paint. The result follows the proportions of a traditional chopper while retaining the compact Honda platform.

What GoPro’s Helmet Patent Means for Rider Safety

GoPro has filed patents outlining a motorcycle helmet that combines an integrated camera, rider-facing microphones, and a rear-facing audio system designed to monitor traffic around the wearer. The documents offer an early look at how the action-camera company could extend its Forcite helmet work.

The proposed helmet places a camera in the chin bar behind a flush cover. A set of upward-facing LEDs would project colored signals onto the visor, with different patterns intended to communicate information such as navigation directions.

Why Superbike Factory Buyers Are Still Waiting

Superbike Factory customers still do not have a clear route to their motorcycles or their money after the UK retailer entered administration. A new update from the joint administrators adds one important detail: a third-party funder has collected and stored the bikes caught in the dispute.

The update applies to people who paid for a motorcycle that was never delivered and sellers who handed over a bike without receiving payment. The administrators said the motorcycles were originally expected to remain at Superbike Factory sites while ownership and contractual claims were reviewed.

Yamaha Teases New Motorcycle for EICMA 2026

Yamaha has marked November 2 on the calendar for a new motorcycle announcement in Milan, one day before EICMA 2026 opens to the public. The company’s teaser calls the event ‘Redefine the Standard’ and offers few details beyond a graphic that resembles an uneven three-spike EKG reading.
