The Yamaha RD350 “Black Widow Tribute” is a custom motorcycle built by the Malaga, Spain workshop of Lord Drake Kustoms.
Designed for a client using their corporate colors, the project focuses on sharpening the classic, unhinged 1970s two-stroke twin into a lean, aggressive street machine that lands somewhere between a modern streetfighter and a classic GP racer.
This Custom Yamaha RD350 Looks So, So Good
To improve the bike’s stability and correct its historically weak braking performance, Lord Drake Kustoms heavily overhauled the chassis. The team tossed the original front end in favor of modern suspension hardware, a high-performance Ducati Monster braking setup, wider wheels, and modern rubber.
For the bodywork and aesthetics, the workshop focused on keeping the design compact and removing excess bulk. The team reshaped the subframe and paired it with a custom-fabricated tail unit and integrated seat that flows directly into the tank line.

They also installed clip-on handlebars to pull the rider forward into an aggressive position and discreetly integrated modern electronics, including a low-profile digital speedometer and all-LED lighting.
The core two-stroke twin engine remains the star of the build, breathing through pod-equipped carburetors and custom expansion chambers. By balancing modern components with the bike’s original mechanical character, Lord Drake Kustoms kept the machine looking compact and angry without overbuilding it into something sterile.
