The Yamaha XT550 is one of my favorite bikes to see customized, and this bike called La Lupa built by Francis Von Tuto is no exception. It’s a beautiful motorcycle.
The XT550 is a unique motorcycle and it makes for a great scrambler or tracker design as you can see here.
It is a bike that came out in the 1980s and it has aged really well. This custom is great because it’s still recognizable as a Yamaha XT550.
The builder Francesco Tutino of Francis Von Tuto Moto Works took this bike and turned it into a really nice-looking machine. Nicknamed La Lupa (she-wolf in Italian) the bike was a commission by Francesco’s good friend Rino.
Rino bought the donor bike as a rusty hunk of junk and Francesco Tutino transformed it into this beautiful masterpiece.
You can read more about it at BikeBound. The photos seen here were taken by Tyler Alberti.
