‘Custom World Scrambler’ – Heiwa Motorcycle Scramblers

Feast your eyes on some seriously beautiful scrambler motorcycles.

Scramblers are some of the coolest bikes out there, and these Heiwa Motorcycle scramblers showcased at the Custom World Scrambler even in Japan are perhaps the coolest.

The event happened from July 16th to August 28th, and it was held at a large commercial facility called “Pacela” in Hiroshima.

At the event, Heiwa Motorcycle showcased 12 custom scramblers which are some of the most beautiful bikes I’ve seen in a while.

Supercharged Honda GL1000 Gold Wing Custom Cafe Racer

This year has seen some odd and frankly horrible things, including a global pandemic, so as far as getting weird goes, I think we’re all entitled. This Supercharged Honda GL1000 Gold Wing cafe racer is the kind of weird I encourage.

The bike is the last thing you’d expect when you think Gold Wing, from the beautiful red paint to the low handlebars to the funky vertically oriented headlight.

It’s an odd bike and fitting one for 2020. Railman Mark Nevitt built it, and I’m sure glad he did.

Harley-Davidson Softail Cafe Racer by Mr. Martini

Nicola Martini is known as Mr. Martini in the custom bike world, and he built a Harley-Davidson Softail Cafe Racer out of an HD Fat Boy.

When most people think Fat Boy, they don’t think cafe racer. The Softail model is a cruiser best known for its solid cast wheels and badass attitude.

This transformation is a striking one and shows just how versatile the Fat Boy can be in the right hands.

Yamaha XT550 “La Lupa” by Francis Von Tuto

The Yamaha XT550 is one of my favorite bikes to see customized, and this bike called La Lupa built by Francis Von Tuto is no exception. It’s a beautiful motorcycle.

The XT550 is a unique motorcycle and it makes for a great scrambler or tracker design as you can see here.

It is a bike that came out in the 1980s and it has aged really well. This custom is great because it’s still recognizable as a Yamaha XT550.

Suzuki GT750S Vallelunga Racing Special

A Unique Racing Sportbike in the Suzuki GT750S

I spend a lot of time discussing cafe racers, bobbers, scramblers, and other bikes, but I do love cool sportbikes like this 1974 Suzuki GT750S Vallelunga.

The Suzuki GT750 Le Mans came to the world in 1971. It was nicknamed Water Buffalo or Kettle. It was the first liquid-cooled production motorcycle from Japan. The version you see here is a SAIAD-developed racing special.
