The 5 Best Bobber Motorcycles: A Tribute to Stripped-Down Style

Bobber motorcycles have a special place in the hearts of motorcyclists, much like an old cowboy’s worn boots—they are stripped-down, no-nonsense machines built to deliver a pure riding experience. Traditionally, you couldn’t buy a bobber. You had to build it, but today you can get one from the factory.

5 Best Bobbers You Can Buy

Looking for the best bobbers? I have the list for you. A bobber is usually a motorcycle that you create yourself. I’ve showcased many bobbers on this website that are hand-built custom creations. Personally, I prefer these to the mass-manufactured bobbers that are out there.

However, there are certainly some motorcycles that come with the bobber look. Many aren’t the hardtail bobbers I think of when I think of this type of bike. They’re more refined, which is okay on the right motorcycle.

New Gladstone No.1 SE Bobber

The super low-volume bikemaker has a new iteration of its No.1 bobber called the SE.

Gladstone Motorcycles crafted the No.1 bobber back in 2013. It was an awesome bike. Now the company has a new model based on the No.1 but with some changes.

“We wanted to build a bike where we didn’t have customers for it – this is what I’d build for myself as a personalised bike on the road,” said designer Guy Wilson.

The new creation is called the SE, and Gladstone Motorcycles just showed it off.  Continue reading “New Gladstone No.1 SE Bobber”
