The Moto Guzzi Griso 1100 custom motorcycle you see here was built by the master Kenji “Katsu” Katsumoto of Katsu Motorworks.
The bike is based on a 2006 Moto Guzzi model but there’s little left of the stock bike to indicate that. The engine is the telltale sign.
Let’s take a closer look at this interesting machine.
Katsu Motorworks Made the Moto Guzzi Griso 1100 Into a Streetfighter
Kenji Katsu of Katsu Motorworks achieved high acclaim when he won the award for Best Cafe Racer in Japan’s Mooneyes show. He hasn’t lost steam since.
The bike builder got a commission to build a unique Moto Guzzi much like the bike that won him the award. He worked closely with this person to build the bike you see here.
It’s based on the 2006 Moto Guzzi Griso 1100, but it has a few Griso V8 parts and tons of custom work as you can see.
The customer wanted bare aluminum for most of the bike, so that’s what Katsu did. All of the parts were made custom for this build and it gives the ride a sharp and aggressive look.
The bike is both rugged and refined. It’s like a purposefully made weapon, and it looks darn fast. With the 1,151cc engine powering it, and the stripped-down style, I’m sure that it is.
