EBR Back From the Dead, Again
Erik Buell Racing (EBR) is a company that just won’t die. That’s a good thing. The original company made awesome bikes that just didn’t sell well.
Hopefully this time the business model will work and the limited number of bikes it makes will sell.
EBR is now owned by a guy named Bill Melvin. The company currently produces parts for EBR’s old bikes, but Melvin wants to add limited production bikes to the mix.
“We are going to keep the iconic brand in production with specialized and performance builds,” Melvin said, according to Ultimate Motorcycling.
The bikes will be specialized performance builds. He has two guys that are hand building EBR 1190 superbikes. Cool. I want more of this.
