Well, it was teased, and now it’s here. Enter the Triumph TF 450-RC, their latest 450cc motocrosser, named after the GOAT himself, Ricky Carmichael. This isn’t just a sticker-and-name collaboration either—Carmichael was in the trenches, helping design this machine to rip through tracks. Coming to a dealership near you in February, this beauty will set you back $10,995.

Motorcycles – So Many Choices
The world of motorcycles is a robust one. There’s a motorcycle designed for pretty much every use out there. The companies selling bikes are trying to appeal to every area of the market from the folks who love to cruise to the racers to the adventurers.
Then there’s the custom bike scene. Geniuses, craftsmen, artists take motorcycles and turn them into rolling pieces of art.
I try to cover a little bit of it all. From the new bikes rolling off the production lines at the various motorcycle manufacturers to the littlest of custom shops and individuals tinkering around in their sheds.
Types of Motorcycles
Here are the main types of motorcycles I typically write about on this site.
- Cafe Racer
- Scrambler
- Bobber
- Sportbikes
- Electric Motorcycles
- Minibikes
- Cruisers
- Adventure Bikes
- Moped
- Scooter
Note that this isn’t an exhaustive list, and the article linked above about the different types of motorcycles will explain the full picture.
Motorcycle Brands
The fun doesn’t stop with the various types of motorcycles. There are also tons of brands that sell each type of motorcycle. I’ve written an article on the different motorcycle brands out there, and that should give you a pretty clear idea of what you’ll find.
Motorcycle Engine Size
Motorcycle type and the different brands matter a ton, but I often find myself and other riders classifying motorcycles by their engine size or displacement.
This is typically how the industry categorizes motorcycles. You’ll see a 250cc class, a 600cc class, etc. To learn more, check out my article on the various engine sizes out there in the world of motorcycles.
Motorcycles and Prices
Lastly, I want to talk about the price of motorcycles. Everyone has to work in a budget, and you can buy a nice bike for very little money, but you can also spend a ton.
Price is a big deciding factor, and I would hope you take it into account. Here are my thoughts on motorcycles and their prices.
Below are the latest articles on various motorcycles.

The question has a ring of mystery to it, doesn’t it? “What motorcycle is in The World’s Fastest Indian?” Well, for those who haven’t seen the movie or lived under a rock for the last few decades, The World’s Fastest Indian is a film about one man, his machine, and an impossible dream that wasn’t so impossible after all. But this isn’t some glossy, computer-generated story of a souped-up, futuristic bike. No, this is about something gritty, real, and borderline ridiculous — the 1920 Indian Scout.

The new Husqvarna Vitpilen 801, the “White Arrow,” follows the Svartpilen 801 as a stylish roadster with performance borrowed from the KTM 790 Duke. Underneath, it shares the same 799cc parallel-twin engine, producing a potent 105 horsepower and 64 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed transmission and adjustable ride modes. But where the Svartpilen goes for a rugged, scrambler vibe, the Vitpilen opts for sharper, more aggressive lines and a lower, sportier riding position.

There’s a special place in America’s heart for Easy Rider. It’s the movie that gave us more than just a story—it gave us a legend, two dreamers riding their hogs into the wide open spaces of a country in flux.
Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper, cruising down long stretches of highway, their machines cutting through the American landscape like a knife through butter. The motorcycles they rode weren’t just props; they were symbols. And when it comes to Easy Rider, these two-wheelers have their own mythology.

Kawasaki’s did it, just like I said. It turned up the heat in the two-wheeled world with the official announcement of the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX.
