Suzuki Ends the GSX-1300R Hayabusa After 20 Years

The Busa is no more. 

Back in 1999, the Suzuki GSX-1300R Hayabusa had every bro chanting “Busa” as they dreamed of riding a motorcycle at 194 mph. 

The company has now decided to end production after 20 years. 

This move comes as a little bit of a shock. The Hayabusa is still such a dominant force.

Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 Pricing Announced

Husqvarna’s Svartpilen 701 latest addition to its line up is cheaper than the Vitpilen.

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 got everyone going at EICMA. Now it’s pricing for the UK version of the bike is set.

Husqvarna’s PR folks told RideApart that pricing for the North American market will be pretty much the same.

It’s not a cheap bike, but it’s probably worth it.

2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Updates

Kawasaki made updates to its Ninja ZX-6R for the 2019 model year improving on an already killer bike.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R was already an awesome motorcycle. For 2019 Kawasaki wanted to make it even better.

The company decided to up the styling drama a bit. It also added in some new technology and equipment.

It should help the bike stay competitive.

The Ottobike MCR2 is a Usable Electric Mini Motorcycle

Ottobike improves the design of its little electric bike.

Taiwanese company Ottobike came out with its MCR motorcycle last year, the bike looked good and got people interested, but it wasn’t perfect.

Now the company has a new version of the motorcycle, aptly named MCR2.

It’s an improved version of the electric bike in just about every way, and could hint at what most motorcycle companies will be looking to produce in the future.

EVs make sense as peppy commuters, and Vespa the perfect scooter in the Elettrica.

While I’ll always love the rumble of an internal combustion engine, electric powertrains will likely dominate the future of vehicle technology.

Electricity will power cars, motorcycles, and scooters. Vespa is making that a reality with its new Elettrica.

The electric scooter has impressive performance stats. It’s power, range, recharge times, and everything else are exactly what I’d want in a commuter vehicle.

NOWLAB Built the World’s First Fully 3D Printed E-Motorcycle

It’s not a production motorcycle … yet.

A group called NOWLAB, which is a consultancy for a German 3D printing company called BigRep has built a cool 3D printed e-motorcycle.

Not some of it was 3D printed. Not just the body. The whole dang thing, excluding the electrical components, of course.

This is one cool ride, and it might be the future for building bikes.

New Gladstone No.1 SE Bobber

The super low-volume bikemaker has a new iteration of its No.1 bobber called the SE.

Gladstone Motorcycles crafted the No.1 bobber back in 2013. It was an awesome bike. Now the company has a new model based on the No.1 but with some changes.

“We wanted to build a bike where we didn’t have customers for it – this is what I’d build for myself as a personalised bike on the road,” said designer Guy Wilson.
