Bobber motorcycles have a special place in the hearts of motorcyclists, much like an old cowboy’s worn boots—they are stripped-down, no-nonsense machines built to deliver a pure riding experience. Traditionally, you couldn’t buy a bobber. You had to build it, but today you can get one from the factory.

Motorcycles – So Many Choices
The world of motorcycles is a robust one. There’s a motorcycle designed for pretty much every use out there. The companies selling bikes are trying to appeal to every area of the market from the folks who love to cruise to the racers to the adventurers.
Then there’s the custom bike scene. Geniuses, craftsmen, artists take motorcycles and turn them into rolling pieces of art.
I try to cover a little bit of it all. From the new bikes rolling off the production lines at the various motorcycle manufacturers to the littlest of custom shops and individuals tinkering around in their sheds.

Motorcycle Engine Size
Motorcycle type and the different brands matter a ton, but I often find myself and other riders classifying motorcycles by their engine size or displacement.
This is typically how the industry categorizes motorcycles. You’ll see a 250cc class, a 600cc class, etc. To learn more, check out my article on the various engine sizes out there in the world of motorcycles.
Motorcycles and Prices
Lastly, I want to talk about the price of motorcycles. Everyone has to work in a budget, and you can buy a nice bike for very little money, but you can also spend a ton.
Price is a big deciding factor, and I would hope you take it into account. Here are my thoughts on motorcycles and their prices.
Below are the latest articles on various motorcycles.

What Motorcycle Is in ‘The Darjeeling Limited’?
Ah, The Darjeeling Limited—Wes Anderson’s oddball cinematic postcard from India. A film filled with surreal symmetry, quirky characters, and Anderson’s trademark sense of melancholy wrapped in deadpan humor. You might remember the Whitman brothers—Francis, Peter, and Jack—embarking on their spiritual journey across the Indian landscape via a vibrant train. But in between the contemplative glances and awkward familial moments, one curious piece of machinery appears—a modest motorcycle that, while understated, steals a little bit of the spotlight. And no, it’s not a flashy Ducati or a roaring Harley. Instead, it’s a simple, hardworking Honda Hero 100cc.

In the 2008 film One Week, a Canadian indie gem, the motorcycle of choice is not just a machine; it’s a symbol, a companion, and an essential part of the journey. The bike in question? A 1973 Norton Commando 850, a British classic that carries the film’s protagonist, Ben Tyler (played by Joshua Jackson), across the sweeping and sometimes desolate landscapes of Canada.
