In Roman Holiday, a film that made us all wish for an Italian escapade, the scooter that stole the show alongside Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck is none other than a Vespa. Now, this is not just any two-wheeler. The Vespa, with its quirky charm and buzzing little engine, became a star in its own right, helping to define the postwar European dream of freedom and adventure.

Motorcycles – So Many Choices
The world of motorcycles is a robust one. There’s a motorcycle designed for pretty much every use out there. The companies selling bikes are trying to appeal to every area of the market from the folks who love to cruise to the racers to the adventurers.
Then there’s the custom bike scene. Geniuses, craftsmen, artists take motorcycles and turn them into rolling pieces of art.
I try to cover a little bit of it all. From the new bikes rolling off the production lines at the various motorcycle manufacturers to the littlest of custom shops and individuals tinkering around in their sheds.
Types of Motorcycles
Here are the main types of motorcycles I typically write about on this site.
- Cafe Racer
- Scrambler
- Bobber
- Sportbikes
- Electric Motorcycles
- Minibikes
- Cruisers
- Adventure Bikes
- Moped
- Scooter
Note that this isn’t an exhaustive list, and the article linked above about the different types of motorcycles will explain the full picture.
Motorcycle Brands
The fun doesn’t stop with the various types of motorcycles. There are also tons of brands that sell each type of motorcycle. I’ve written an article on the different motorcycle brands out there, and that should give you a pretty clear idea of what you’ll find.
Motorcycle Engine Size
Motorcycle type and the different brands matter a ton, but I often find myself and other riders classifying motorcycles by their engine size or displacement.
This is typically how the industry categorizes motorcycles. You’ll see a 250cc class, a 600cc class, etc. To learn more, check out my article on the various engine sizes out there in the world of motorcycles.
Motorcycles and Prices
Lastly, I want to talk about the price of motorcycles. Everyone has to work in a budget, and you can buy a nice bike for very little money, but you can also spend a ton.
Price is a big deciding factor, and I would hope you take it into account. Here are my thoughts on motorcycles and their prices.
Below are the latest articles on various motorcycles.

The motorcycle in Mission: Impossible – Fallout? That roaring machine that practically steals the show? It’s none other than the BMW R nineT, a two-wheeled work of art that gets as much screen time as Tom Cruise’s jawline.
Now, if you’ve seen the film—and let’s be honest, you probably have—you’ll recall the heart-pounding scene where Ethan Hunt (played by Cruise, as ever) tears through the streets of Paris, dodging cars, skidding around corners, and brushing off collisions with an ease that can only exist in the action-hero universe. All of this aboard a sleek, black BMW R nineT, a motorcycle as suited to a high-speed chase as a tuxedo is to a casino brawl.

The world of motorcycles has always been about pushing boundaries—both physical and mechanical. The thrill of a machine roaring between your legs, wind slapping your face, and the visceral connection to the road has driven innovations for decades.

In the 2004 sci-fi thriller I, Robot, starring Will Smith as the futuristic cop Del Spooner, there’s no shortage of high-tech eye candy. The sleek, autonomous cars, the gleaming cities, and, of course, the ever-present robots all work together to create a vision of the future that feels just within arm’s reach. But for those of us more attuned to two wheels than four, there’s one machine that stands out amidst all the chrome and circuitry: the motorcycle. The bike that Spooner zips through the city on, weaving in and out of traffic, has an undeniable allure. But what exactly is it?

When the dust settles after a Hollywood brawl, and the bar stools and beer bottles stop flying, there’s one question left standing, at least for motorcycle enthusiasts: What motorcycle is Marlon Brando riding in The Wild One? The answer is a lot simpler than Brando’s moody swagger. It’s a Triumph Thunderbird 6T, and it’s no coincidence that this British beauty was as much a star as Brando himself in the 1953 cult classic. But let’s dive in, because this bike deserves more than a passing mention.
