Royal Enfield is finally making its move into the middleweight class with a completely new 750cc parallel-twin platform arriving in 2027. The Continental GT-R 750 and Himalayan 750 will lead the charge, and it’s clear the British-Indian brand is serious about competing where the money actually is.
The new engine displaces 750cc by bumping up the bore of their existing 650cc parallel-twin. Early reports suggest the motor will produce somewhere between 55 and 60 horsepower, a solid bump over the 650cc’s 47 horses. Torque should climb to around 52 Nm, giving riders more grunt across the powerband where it actually matters.
