The Benda Napoleon 250 Is a Weird, But Cool Bobber-Style Cruiser

The Benda Napoleon 250 is a unique bobber-style cruiser motorcycle with a V-twin engine and a funky front suspension setup. I’m sure it’s heavier than it needs to be, especially for a 250, but gosh it is cool looking.

Benda Napoleon 250’s Odd Setup

Say what you will about Benda as a company, and the idea of a small 250 cruiser, this bike is neat. But it doesn’t really make sense when you think about it.

The Benda Napoleon 250 motorcycle uses a funky front suspension setup.

The bike features a V-twin liquid-cooled 249cc engine and a hardtail design with an odd, and seemingly heavy front-end suspension.

The front end uses both a standard fork and a girder fork design with side-mounted springs. This looks overly complicated and needlessly heavy to me.

Also, a liquid-cooled V-twin seems to be overly complicated and probably is also heavy.

On the bright side, all this weight seems to be sorta low, so I bet the bike feels sturdy and predictable on the road. Still, I think Benda will have a hard time competing in the segment when amazing bikes like the Honda Rebel and Kawasaki Eliminator exist.
