This Can-Am Electric Motorcycle Patent Has Everyone Scratching Their Heads

Can-Am’s electrified journey took a curious turn with a new patent that might reveal their next motorcycle. I know the Canadian brand has plans for at least two more platforms using its liquid-cooled electric powertrain, but this one’s got everyone scratching their heads.

At first glance, the design suggests a flat tracker. Compared to Can-Am’s Pulse, this concept sports a steeper rake, with controls positioned low and forward. The handlebars are wide and angled, evoking a retro dirt track vibe. Yet, there’s room for interpretation.

Can-Am Files Patent for Motorcycle With Hub-Steering That’s Gasoline Powered

I hope this bike makes it to production.

Can-Am has been home to reverse trikes, but the company will come back to two-wheeled motorcycles with some electric models. That said, the brand recently filed a patent for a unique gasoline-powered motorcycle with hub steering.

Why Canada Makes Three Wheelers | Can-Am Ryker Review 2019 by FortNine

The Can-Am Ryker isn’t on my list of machines I want, but this review is epic.

A love letter to Canada and a review of the Ryker by FortNine.

I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of Cam-Am’s Ryker or any of the other reverse trikes out there. Trikes in general reverse or otherwise just don’t do it for me.

With that said, this review of the Ryker by FortNine is absolutely fantastic and almost makes we want to like them.
