I try to do a motorcycle news roundup at the end of every week. Just a quick look back through the most important news stories out there.
This week, BMW, Moto Guzzi, and Harley-Davidson all made the cut for the news roundup.
So, without further ado, let’s take a closer look at the news stories that really mattered this week.
2020 Was BMW Motorrad’s Second Best Sales Year
Despite the pandemic and perhaps because of it, BMW Motorrad happened to see some of the best sales numbers ever. The company sold over 150,000 motorcycles in 2020.
Moto Guzzi Releases 3 Special Editions
In 2021, Moto Guzzi will celebrate its 100th anniversary of being in business. That’s a big milestone, and to celebrate, it’s releasing three new special edition motorcycles: the 2021 V85 TT, V9, and V7 each with its own special Centennial color scheme.
Say Goodbye to the Harley-Davidson Street Line
Harley’s Street line of entry-level motorcycles never really was a huge hit. Harley bros didn’t want the entry-level machine, and other riders didn’t want a Harley. It’s a shame because they’re good bikes. Harley is now saying goodbye to these bikes as its new CEO shakes things up. The only good news here is that these should be cheap bikes on the used market.
