The REV’IT! Eclipse 2 Jacket is in stock at motorcycle gear retailers everywhere. The jacket is one of the best for its price, and I highly recommend you check it out. The textile material, excellent feature list, and lightweight nature all help make it one of the best jackets under $200.
Stepping Things Up With The REV’IT! Eclipse 2 Jacket
REV’IT!’s original Eclipse jacket was quite good. I recommended it often to riders everywhere. Now we have the Eclipse 2, which is the latest iteration of this well-crafted design.
This is a superb summer jacket built for high airflow and comfort in those warmer months of the year. It features polyester mesh paneling on the chest, inner arms, and back.
In the important areas, you’ll find abrasion-resistant 600D polyester for protection from a slide. There is a reflective emblem on the top of the back to catch people’s eye at night, and the adjustable straps on the cuffs and hips let you tailor the fit a bit.
You’ll also find CE-level 1 SEESMART shoulder and elbow armor. The jacket has a pocket for a back protector, but you’ll have to buy the SEESOFT CE-level 2 back protector separately—REV’IT! does not include it with the jacket. All told, this jacket is certified to EN 17092-4:2020, which is great.
