Harley riders need full-face helmets too, so I thought it best to take a look at the best full-face helmets for Harley riders out there.
When you think of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the gear associated with them, you might not think of full-face helmets. It’s always leather jackets or leather vests, half helmets, and engineer boots.
However, many Harley riders are looking for full-face motorcycle helmets that also look good with their bike. The following helmets do just that.
1. Biltwell Lane Splitter Helmet
This Biltwell is one of my favorite helmets. I ride a cruiser (a Honda) but it would work equally well for any Harley rider. The Biltwell Lane Splitter helmet is perfect for a rider seeking that badass look. The helmet meets ECE R22.5 and DOT standards and has great features and construction, including an injection-molded ABS outer shell with a hand-painted finish, EPS inner shell, hand-sewn removable Lycra liner with quilted stitching, and open-cell foam padding. The helmet also comes with a chin curtain, and a CNC laser-cut polycarbonate eye port shield with aluminum hinge covers.

2. Simpson Ghost Bandit Helmet
Similar to the Biltwell, but bringing the classic Simpson style into the new age, the Simpson Ghost Bandit helmet brings classic drag-racing style to motorcycles with a new-age design. The helmet features a lightweight composite shell, DOT and ECE certification, a removable and antibacterial liner, an internal sun visor, integrated speaker and boom mic pockets, adjustable chin vents to either side, and a removable chin air dam. This helmet ships with a clear face shield, too.

3. Biltwell Gringo S ECE Helmet
I love the Biltwell Gringo S ECE helmet, which is a version of the standard Gringo with a face shield. This lid brings retro styling, and it will be one of the best full-face helmets for Harley riders. The classic styling will go nicely with any Harley motorcycle. The helmet features a smooth shell made of injection-molded ABS, there’s an EPS inner shell, and a hand-sewn brushed Lycra liner with diamond stitching. It also has an internal BioFoam chin pad with hand-sewn contrast stitching, rugged plated steel D-ring chin strap, a CNC cut polycarbonate eye port shield with aluminum hinge covers and mounting hardware. The eye port itself features rubber or chrome edging (depending on the color scheme), and there are speaker pockets built-in for a Bluetooth headset. This helmet is ECE and DOT approved if you couldn’t tell from the name of the helmet.

4. Bell Bullitt Helmet
Stepping things up a notch in terms of materials and also price, the Bell Bullitt helmet brings some similar retro styling to the Gringo S, but with some notable upgrades. The helmet features an ultra-low-profile fiber composite shell, EPS inner shell, removable and washable anti-bacterial interior, perforated micro-suede interior fabric with leather trim, a padded chin strap with stainless steel D-ring closure and leather pull tab, five metal intake vents, and one rear exhaust vent. The helmet also has a Magnefusion shield closure system, and there’s a flat shield in the box but a bubble shield is also available (sold separately). Add to all this a five-year warranty and DOT and ECE protection, and you have one of the best full-face helmets for Harley riders.

5. Bell Eliminator Helmet
Another fantastic helmet from Bell, the Bell Eliminator Helmet is sleek and at the same time gives a nod to the auto racing helmets of the past. It has a classic look but a modern design and construction. The helmet features a fiberglass composite shell, ProVision dual-pane anti-fog face shield with Class 1 optics, anti-bacterial liner, contoured cheek pads, recessed speaker pockets, a Magnefusion strap keeper, and it is eyeglasses compatible. It comes both DOT and ECE approved and there’s an optional peak visor you can buy (sold separately).

Other Great Full-Face Helmets
Obviously, these aren’t the only full-face helmets out there. If you’re looking for the best full-face helmets for Harley riders, they are the ones I’d recommend.
However, if these don’t strike your fancy, then you should check out some other great full-face helmets. Here are a few full-face helmets under $200. And while not all of the ones on this list are full-face, these retro helmets or these cruiser helmets would also work well for Harley riders.
