Ducati has a thing for lightweight machines and the 2020 Ducati Panigale V4 Superleggera is made to be a lightweight, high-performance racing machine.
Recently, Ari Henning had a chance to get up close and personal with the bike and do a first ride review.
He does a good job explaning the things you need to know and then he gets on the bike to take it for a spin.
The 2020 Ducati Panigale V4 Superleggera Is Unlike Any Other Sportbike
There are only plans to make 500 of these 2020 Ducati Panigale V4 Superleggera motorcycles.
Ducati spared no expense. The bike is the only production motorcycle to be made with an entirely carbon-fiber chassis, and everything else is made with the highest-grade lightweight components from the engine and suspension to the lights and controls.
There are some huge winglets that can provide 110 pounds of downforce at 160 mph. With the upgraded exhaust and the ECU tune, you’re looking at 234 hp. That’s an insane amount of power for a bike with a curb weight of about 350 pounds.
The bike is an insane sportbike, and it comes with a comparable price tag of about $100,000. That’s a lot of money, but this is a bike like no other.
I’d urge you to check out the video below that Ari did for Revzilla. It’s a great look at this killer machine.
