Looking for a maxi scooter that is a truly unique machine? Then you should get pretty excited about this one—the 2023 BMW CE 04. Zack Courts had a chance to get in the saddle of this electric machine to see how good it is at doing all of the things that a big scooter is supposed to do.

Zack seems to like this scooter, but it’s not a perfect machine. The bike is heavy at over 500 pounds and really long.
The bike has an electric powertrain that’s designed to match the output of a 400cc scooter or close to that. The bike makes 20 hp continuously and 42 hp peak. It puts out 45.7 foot-pounds of torque.
According to Zack, in regular riding, you’re going to get 45 to 65 miles per charge. The charge time takes like nine hours on a regular home charger.
It has a base price of $11,795, but all models imported get a $1,650 Premium Package, so you’re looking at $13,445.
