Vespa Primavera 150 Video Review from Zack Courts

This is a fantastic little commuter scooter.

The Vespa Primavera 150 brings the classic Italian scooter style to the modern-day market with some great features.

Zack Courts recently had a chance to ride the scooter in his Daily Rider series for Revzilla.

Watch the full video above, or get some of my thoughts below about this unique urban machine.

The Vespa Primavera 150 Is Pretty Impressive

The Primavera 150 is a great little runabout for someone who needs a city ride. It is highway capable, but as Zack notes, it tops out at about 65 mph and isn’t the best machine for highway runs.

Still, this machine is one of the best out there if you are going to be scooting around town and going shopping and whatnot.

Obviously, Vespa sells a 50cc version of the scooter, and I love 50cc scooters, but the 150 is the more practical bike. It features a fuel-injected 155cc three-valve four-stroke single-cylinder engine that makes 12.9 hp and 9.4 lb-ft of torque. It has a CVT automatic transmission. Vespa claims 94.7 mpg, but Zack said he got somewhere in the 70 mpgs.

Is this the best bike ever? No. But it’s certainly one of the best scooters out there. It’s polite, fun, gentle, and easy to live with.
