The 2025 Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition is a bike that doesn’t shout, but lets you know it’s still here—kinda like that trusty friend who never changed his wardrobe but somehow always looks good. This year, Husqvarna gave it a few tweaks to meet Euro5+ regulations, keeping it in the good graces of emissions standards without sacrificing too much of its adventure bike spirit.
The 2025 Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition Is Better Than Ever
The updates? Well, they’re more “quiet improvements” than headline-stealers. There are new mirrors with a slight ergonomic bend, an updated traction control system with a 10th level of rear wheel slip (because apparently nine just wasn’t enough), a hazard warning system, and a USB-C port to keep your gadgets juiced on the go.
The biggest change is a revised exhaust system, helping that 889cc twin engine breathe easier while satisfying the ever-demanding Euro5+ emissions standards.
But, make no mistake—this isn’t a reinvention. The 2025 Norden 901 Expedition keeps the same gutsy 105-hp engine, still wrapped in its chromium-molybdenum steel frame. The suspension is courtesy of WP’s fully adjustable XPLOR setup, offering 9.4 inches of travel, perfect for when the pavement ends and the adventure really begins. Braking? Dual radial-mount calipers up front and a single floating one in the back, with Bosch ABS to keep you in check.
It’s still the 473-pound adventure machine we knew last year, just a bit more polished around the edges, but with the same heart of a wanderer. In the end, Husqvarna’s tweaks for 2025 don’t revolutionize the Norden—they just remind us why we liked it in the first place.
