Word’s come down the wire, folks, that Suzuki’s got a couple of new irons in the fire for the 2026 riding season. Seems the California Air Resources Board, they’re the ones who keep tabs on these things, has given the nod to two fresh machines: the GSX-8T and its kin, the GSX-8TT.
Now, if you’re a rider with a bit of wanderlust, this news ought to perk your ears right up. Think of the GSX-8R built for those long hauls you’re always wanting to take.
I Can’t Wait for the GSX-8T and GSX-TT
The chatter is that the GSX-8T will be a touring model, a right sensible addition to Suzuki’s stable. It’s the kind of machine that promises long stretches of highway and new horizons.
As for that ‘TT’ designation on the second model, well, that’s a bit of a mystery yet. Folks are guessing it might signify some extra comforts for the road, perhaps saddlebags already fixed or a windscreen that stands a bit taller against the wind. But that’s just speculation, mind you.

The full picture, as always, will come into focus down the line. We might just get a proper look at these two-wheeled travelers come November, perhaps at the EICMA show, where they roll out all the latest and greatest.
Until then, it’s a waiting game, but one that promises new options for those of us who find our peace with two wheels beneath us and the open road ahead.
