This jacket will keep you comfortable and protected on any ride and it has an integrated hood for once you get off the bike. I included it in my list of best cafe racer jackets, and I stand by that choice.

I thought it worth it to take a closer look at this fantastic-looking leather motorcycle jacket. Let’s dive in.

The Belstaff Riser Jacket is one of those rare gems that look like a fashionable jacket but it provides some top-quality protection, too.

Because of this, I thought it best to take a closer look at this high-quality, high-style, and high-priced leather jacket. Let’s dig in.

Getting the Right Motorcycle Rain Gear

At some point when you’re out riding, you will get stuck in the rain, and that’s when you need some good motorcycle gear—specifically good rain gear—if you want to stay dry and comfortable.

You can pony up the big bucks for riding gear that’s waterproof, but I’ve found it’s actually better to get yourself some motorcycle rain gear that you can stuff in a saddlebag or top case and pull out when you need it.

With that in mind, I thought it best to take a closer look at rain gear and make some recommendations.

Oxford Toledo 1.0 Mesh Jacket

Earlier this week I showcased one of the more expensive mesh jacket options out there. Today I thought I’d take a look at the other end of the pricing spectrum for mesh jackets. What you find is the Oxford Toledo 1.0 Mesh Jacket.

The Toledo 1.0 Mesh Jacket is under $100 at some retailers and under $200 at others, and it offers a whole lot of features to love. There’s some good materials and what appears to be good construction, too.

If you’re on a budget, this could be a great option for you.

Klim Induction Jacket

It’s starting to get pretty warm out there, and mesh motorcycle jackets—if you have one—will become your best friend. If you don’t have a mesh jacket, I suggest the Klim Induction Jacket.

This jacket is excellent for warm weather because Klim’s Karbonite mesh material moves tons of air. It’s also quite strong, so it offers good abrasion resistance.

Overall, this is a killer jacket that you should consider for your summer riding. There are other mesh jackets out there, but this one puts most of them to shame.

The Classic Leather Motorcycle Jacket: What to Look for and Some Great Options

The classic leather motorcycle jacket is ingrained in motorcycle culture like nothing else. It’s featured in films and permeated American culture in ways that no other garment has in decades. It has practically defined what a motorcycle jacket is or should be.

And it’s still going strong. While this classic design might not have the clout in the motorcycle world that it once did, it’s still a popular item, and because of that, I wanted to take a closer look at it and makes some recommendations.

If you’re in need of a new motorcycle jacket check out these.

Every couple of years you’ll need to upgrade your gear. When you do, you’d better focus on a helmet first, and then a jacket next. While you’ll still need to get boots, gloves, pants, and any other specific gear you want or need, the jacket is a big part of the puzzle. Here are six of the best out there, and while the prices will vary all of them can be found for under $300.
