Shoei RF-SR Helmet Detailed Look

If you’re looking for a venerable full-face that won’t break the bank, look to the Shoei RF-SR helmet.

Shoei is one of my favorite helmet manufacturers. The company has a long history of building great motorcycle helmets, and the Shoei RF-SR helmet is no exception.

The Shoei retails for around $400. That’s not cheap, but it’s also not the most expensive. The company has way more expensive helmets, and what you get in the RF-SR is quite a lot of features and good protection for the money.

Simpson M50 Helmet

The Simpson M50 Helmet offers retro styling with a modern design.

The Simpson M50 Helmet takes the classic design that Simpson usually has with its lids to a whole new level. The helmet design is extremely retro and extremely handsome.

The style blends a kind of streetfighter with a vintage motocross design into a new helmet that can be worn on anything from a cruiser to a cafe racer to a scrambler to a streetfighter. If you have a badass bike, this is the helmet for you.

Scorpion EXO-CT220 Helmet Review

The Scorpion EXO-CT220 helmet is a modern open-face lid.

Love the feel of an older open face helmet, but sick of the old-school tech that comes with almost every single open-face lid out there?

That’s where the Scorpion EXO-CT220 comes in. This open face helmet is thoroughly modern and brings with it good style, too.

Here are some thoughts about this unique helmet.

Fly Racing Street 9mm Helmet

The Fly Racing Street 9mm Helmet is a unique take on a classic style half-helmet design.

The Street 9mm Helmet won’t be for everyone, but it could be for you.

I’ll always advocate for a full-face helmet or a modular over an open face or a half helmet, but the fact of the matter is that a lot of people like those kinds of lids. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of the wind and sun on your face as you ride.

Sena Momentum INC Helmet Review

If you’re looking for a helmet with integrated Bluetooth? Check out the Sena Momentum INC.

There are many companies out there utilizing Bluetooth technology in motorcycle helmets, but the Sena Momentum INC takes that to a new level.

Sena is known for its high-quality helmets that feature Bluetooth technology, but the Momentum INC comes with integrated noise-canceling technology.

This means it will help you blog out the noise you don’t want to hear. The video above by Revzilla goes into some of the special aspects of the helmet.

Bell Riot Helmet

The open face helmet you want, and the face shield you always needed.

For when you’re sick of the snap-on face shields.

On most classic-looking open face helmets the only way you’re going to get a face shield is if you snap an aftermarket one the exterior of the helmet. Bell has managed to solve this issue with the Riot Helmet.

Bell Scout Air Open Face Helmet

This Bell Scout Air helmet puts other so-called lightweight helmets to shame.

The Bell Scout Air is seriously lightweight.

If you want or need to wear a helmet but absolutely hate it, then may I suggest the Bell Scout Air. This helmet is super lightweight and still provides decent protection.

Is it the safest helmet out there? Of course not, but it’s reasonably priced and provides good protection for what you get. It also looks great and won’t weigh down your noggin.

Bell Bullitt Carbon Full-Face Helmet

I love the retro design of this Bell Bullitt helmet.

A classic-style helmet with full-face protection from Bell.

I’m a big fan of full-face helmets. They provide the best protection and features, which is important when riding. I’m also a big fan of retro styling, which means the Bell Bullitt Carbon Helmet is right up my alley.

While some more modern designs will offer more features and whatnot, I really do think that Bell has a good product with the Bullitt Carbon

HJC IS-MAX II Modular Motorcycle Helmet Review

I got to spend some time with the HJC IS-MAX II to review it.

A great modular motorcycle helmet value.

Shoei J-O Open-Face Helmet

This is one open face helmet I really like, quite a lot.

A classic, open-face design from Shoei.

Shoei makes some of the best motorcycle helmets out there, and it’s nice to see a killer, old-school design with this high-quality construction and some of the best features of any open-face retro lid out there. That’s where this Shoei J-O comes in.
