I write daily motorcycle news over at Web Bike World, and at the end of the week, I like to take a look at all of the news stories I’ve covered and do a nice motorcycle news roundup here on Wind Burned Eyes.
This week, Kawasaki, Yamaha, and MV Agusta all stood out in the news. There’s some seriously good stuff happening right now. Let’s dive into the news stories for this week.
Kawasaki Could Build a Vulcan H2
Yep, you read that right. Team Green could stick the supercharged liter bike engine on its cruiser motorcycle. If it were to do this, you’d have one of the craziest power cruisers out there, rivaling even the wild Triumph Rocket 3.
Yamaha’s Tenere 700 Will Finally Come to the U.S.
It has been teased, released in the UK, and talked about ad nauseum. Frankly I’m sick of hearing about this bike. It’s about time Yamaha brought it here. It’s obviously wanted, and I’m looking forward to hearing the impressions and maybe riding one.
MV Agusta’s Rush 1000 Will Begin Production in June
MV Agusta’s Rush 1000 is an amazing motorcycle. Based on the Brutale 1000 RR, the Rush 1000 is the better-looking bike. MV Agusta knows it has a winner on its hands and will be producing the bike in the next month. Good job MV Agusta.
