At the end of every week, I try to do a nice news roundup of the three most important stories in motorcycle news.
This week Suzuki, Norton, and Kawasaki all make the cut. There are old names coming back and new developments for iconic brands.
Let’s dive in and see what stood out this week.
The Kawasaki KLR650 Is Back
This should come as no surprise. Kawasaki’s KLR650 was a super dated but well-loved bike, and it was forced to end the bike due to emissions. Now, however, Kawasaki is bringing it back. The motorcycle was revealed recently as a 2022 model.
Suzuki Is Bringing Back the Hayabusa
The Hayabusa was killed off not that long ago. Even as it was being cut from Suzuki’s lineup there were rumors of it returning at some point in the future. That point is coming very soon. Suzuki released a teaser.
Norton Motorcycles New Facility Soon to Open
Norton is going to open a new facility in the UK. Backed by TVS, this will be a new state-of-the-art facility. It should help push Norton to new levels and help bring back the company.
