Bill Simpson Died
He was one of the true motorsports safety equipment innovators, even lighting himself on fire more than once to prove the effectiveness of his company’s fire-resistant suit. He died at the age of 79.
Segway has an Electric Motorcycle Concept Called the Ninebot Apex
I hate Segway’s typical products, but the company seems to be serious about an electric motorcycle. The Ninebot Apex Concept bike can do 0-60 in under three seconds and has a top speed of 125 mph. Color me impressed.
Gas Gas Will Build Street Bikes Thanks to KTM Partnership
KTM is really shaking things up. It partnered with Gas Gas earlier this year, and now it will get the Spanish company to sell street bikes in addition to its usual off-road bikes.
