Revzilla, KTM, and Yamaha are in the news this week.
Every Friday I do a roundup of the news that I’ve covered so far this week over at Web Bike World. I write daily news for the website, and it makes sense to do a roundup over here to keep everyone informed of what’s happening in the industry.
Revzilla Gets a New CEO
This could be good or it could be bad. Revzilla is a fantastic place to get good deals on gear and other motorcycle-related items. However, that might change. The new CEO is not a motorcyclist and does not ride. He has plenty of executive experience, but I worry he doesn’t understand the industry. Time will tell.
KTM and Bajaj are Working on a High-End Electric Motorcycle
This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. KTM and Bajaj are working on a ton of projects together in the company’s quest to become a bigger player in the industry. It’ll be interesting to see what they come up with, where it’s sold, and how much it will cost.
Yamaha’s Niken Test Shows it Does Have More Traction Than a Two-Wheel Bike
This is a claim that Yamaha made, and it has been proven by the guys over at Bennetts. It’s really not a huge surprise when you think about it. There’s another contact pact connecting you to the road, so it only makes sense that the bike would have better traction.
