A custom motorcycle doesn’t have to cost as much as a very expensive house, but the Ransom Archangel will. The Archangel, built by New Jersey-based Ransom Motorcycles, will be built to order with the best possible materials. It looks absolutely out of this world.
Special Doesn’t Even Begin to Describe the Ransom Archangel
The crazy motorcycle isn’t a series production motorcycle. It’s a special machine. The bike can be had by placing a non-refundable $2,000 deposit to hold your place in line (if you can even get a spot).
The builder, W. Robert Ransom, will then work with you on the specifics of your bike. The machine is then built as a world-class bespoke machine, at which point you’ll have to pay the previously agreed-upon amount of between six and seven-figures, depending on the bike.
So, what does all that money get you? First, you get a hand-formed aluminum construction shaped like a cross between a blade and a dragon. The engine in the bike is a 185 hp inline four-cylinder with a 13,000 rpm redline, but the manufacturer is unknown, according to Forbes.
Ransom builds each of these motorcycles by himself. They take thousands of hours of craftsmanship. There is no support staff or crew of people. It’s one man, one mastermind guided by the client’s wants.
These low-slung motorcycles are some of the wildest creations I’ve ever seen, and I highly recommend you check them out at Ransom’s website.
