MV Agusta is known for making beautiful bikes, and the MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro is no exception. The company showcased the bike to a group of journalists earlier this month, and it’s truly a work of art, with performance to back up its looks.
MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro Details
The tagline for this bike is “The Shape of Desire” and that’s fitting. It’s a curvaceous masterpiece of motorcycle aesthetics. But that is only part of the story here.
The bike features advanced aerodynamics and materials, including wings and carbon fiber bodywork. The team used the 1972 GP500 for inspiration. It’s stunning.
Behind all of the dazzling artwork that is the body of this motorcycle, you’ll find MV Agusta’s 998cc inline four-cylinder engine. This is a jump from the Superveloce 800, which is the last bike to carry the moniker.
The engine makes 208 hp and 86 lb-ft of torque. The bike also has the company’s Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System, four ride modes, cruise control, and an auto blipper to make the bike walk the walk as well as look the part.
All of that is on a steel trellis frame with aluminum side plates a single-sided swingarm, and advanced Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes.
MV Agusta will make only 500 of these bikes. Learn more at MV Agusta’s website.
