Red Wing has been making boots for over 100 years at this point, and the company is known for motorcycle boots as well as its work boots and casual boots.
With a worldwide footprint and over 2,100 employees, Red Wing makes some of the best boots in the world. It’s an iconic brand worn by many motorcycle riders around the world.
Let’s take a closer look at some of the latest boots from the company that are suitable for motorcycle riders.
Motorcycle Boots from Red Wing
When most people think of Red Wing they think work boots, and for good reason. The company has built its iconic brand on crafting work boots for the masses.
It also has numerous casual boots also built with top-quality materials and to uncompromising standards. While some of the boots sold by Red Wing are not anything I would recommend for motorcyclists, there are some of their boots that are certainly tough enough to be good for certain riders.
At various times in history, you would have found motorcyclists wearing Red Wing boots. The company has even partnered with some motorcycle companies to make motorcycle boots for their customers. So, Red Wing has the chops to be a good manufacturer of motorcycle boots.
With that in mind, I thought it best to take a look at the offerings from Red Wing and collect the best ones for motorcycle riders. Not all of these were specifically designed for motorcyclists, but the boots have many of the qualities I would look for in a pair of motorcycle boots. Because of that, I’d say they qualify as good options. Plus, if you’ve ever owned a pair of Red Wing boots, you know they last a good long time, so if you buy some, you’ll not be shopping again for a while.
Indian and Red Wing Spirit Lake Boots
If you’re looking for some great boots designed specifically for one brand of motorcycles, then you should check out the Indian and Red Wing Spirit Lake Boots. The pairing of these two iconic brands makes for a killer pair of boots. You get a Vibram 430 sole, 8-inch height, double-layer leather toe cap, full grain-leather, and a cork midsole that will mold to your feet.

Red Wing Loggermax Boots
Another good lace-up option are the Loggermax Boots. As the name implies these are some heavy duty work boots designed for the outdoors, but they’re sturdy enough to be good for riding. These boots have a Vibram lug sole, heavy-duty Goodyear welt construction, and they are waterproof.

Red Wing Traction Tred Boots
Another pull-on option, the Traction Tred Boots are another option, but a bit shorter in height than the previous pair of pull-on boots. They feature a welt construction, flat-bottomed sole with shallow lugs that’s slip resistant, and some ankle support not found in lesser boots.

Red Wing Classic Moc Boots
The Classic Moc Boots are probably the least suitable of the boots listed here for use as motorcycle boots, but they’re just a good option all the way around. They have a six-inch ankle height, tough leather construction, triple stitching, and the flat sole with shallow lugs.
