The Maeving RM1S electric motorcycle is available in the US now. The bike was previously not available here, and the UK company has a pretty attractive machine on its hands for a reasonable price.

The Maeving RM1S is an attractive motorcycle. It’s a standard-type bike with cues from the classic bikes of the 60s and 70s. It’s also on par in terms of size with a regular motorcycle, which is something I can’t say for some of the electric bikes I see out there.
The bike has a top range of 80 miles, which should be plenty for urban riders. It has a top speed of 70 mph, but if you go that fast, you won’t get your 80 miles.
It weighs 311 pounds and has a rear hub-mounted motor that provides 7.0 kW of continuous power and 11.1 kW of peak power. The batteries are removable, making charging from anywhere pretty easy.
The price of this bike is $8,995 with a $500 deposit. That’s a pretty good price and will make this bike compete well with some of the base offerings from a company like Zero Motorcycles. However, I think the Land Energy’s District motorcycle offers a lot of competition for just $6,995 (it’s just 40 miles of range though at this price, but you can get up to 110 miles of range for more money).
