The new Indian Springfield is riding into 2025 with a twist. While the standard Springfield and Springfield Dark Horse offer fresh paint options for the year, whispers of a Springfield Elite have surfaced, stirring excitement.
Confirmed through Australian homologation data and likely bound for North America, the Elite would join Indian’s lineup of ultra-premium models known for their dazzling hand-painted finishes and high-end upgrades.
Indian Springfield Elite Will Come to Australia and Could Come to the US
Since 2017, Indian’s Elite series—featuring models like the Chieftain Elite and Roadmaster Elite—has delivered exclusivity. The 2025 Springfield Elite, however, marks a first for this series: a non-faired heavyweight saddled with custom treatment.
Powered by the formidable Thunderstroke 116 engine, it shares its DNA with the base Springfield but borrows the 19-inch front wheel from the Springfield Dark Horse. Certification hints at retained classic touches like the large fenders and a windshield, plus a passenger backrest as standard.
While specifics remain under wraps, we can expect an elaborate paint job and premium accessories, continuing Indian’s penchant for blending nostalgia with luxury.
With the 2024 Roadmaster Elite as a benchmark of meticulous craftsmanship, the Springfield Elite’s reveal—likely early 2025—could be the crown jewel of Indian’s expanding lineup.
