Husqvarna’s Svartpilen 701 latest addition to its line up is cheaper than the Vitpilen.
The Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 got everyone going at EICMA. Now it’s pricing for the UK version of the bike is set.
Husqvarna’s PR folks told RideApart that pricing for the North American market will be pretty much the same.
It’s not a cheap bike, but it’s probably worth it.

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 will have a price of £8,899, which works out to be $11,350 in U.S. money. That’s a pretty penny for what’s essentially a restyled and reworked KTM 690 Duke.
Still, I’m not exactly mad about it. It’s a little cheaper than the Vitpilen, and because these bikes are so aesthetically pleasing, I’m not going to complain much about them being at any price.
Just sucks so few people will be able to afford to buy them. They’re genuinely beautiful bikes, and something I would consider if I had the extra dough.
