Harley-Davidson and Rev’It! teamed up to bring a new line of adventure gear to the market.
The standard Harley gear simply won’t cut it on the trails, so this makes total sense.
It’s a smart move by both companies to work together and build a new line for this new bike.
New Rev’It! Gear for a New Kind of Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Harley and Rev’It! new gear is separated into two tiers. There’s the Grit and Passage Lines.
The Grit lineup features a jacket, pants, modular helmet, and gloves. This line is the more affordable offering. That doesn’t mean it lacks substance, though. It features a ripstop outer shell, 600D reinforcements, abrasion-resistant qualities. It also has a removable liner and CE Level 2 armor in the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. The MSRP on the jacket is $550, and for the pants, it is $325.
The Passage lineup is a step above the Grit, featuring more premium materioals and Rev’It!’s breathable Hydratex 3L membrane. While both lines are going to be quality gear, if you want true protection from the elements and/or a slide, Passage is the way to go.
For reference the jacket has an MSRP of $800, and the pants cost $550. Definitely not some budget gear, but I’d expect you to be able to wear the heck out of them.
