Sometimes you want a modern bike, but you don’t want modern looks and that’s where this affordable kit comes in.
A Cool and Affordable Kit
The cosmetic-only kit includes a front cowl, windscreen, left and right fairings, fuel tank cover, and lower and tail cowls. It also comes with all the mounting hardware and brackets needed.
The kit weighs about 13 pounds and results in an 8.8-pound weight reduction on the bike.
One downside is at the 7-inch round headlight is not included. You will have to source that yourself.
Despite this, at just under $1,200, the Rocket Street kit seems worth it to me. The R3 is a killer bike, but it looks so much better like this.
