Honda’s latest NT1100 sport-tourer, a beloved gem across Europe, has been spruced up for 2025. The kicker? It’s still not coming to North America. Launched in 2022, the NT1100 has sold over 12,000 units in Europe and claimed the title of top sport-touring bike for 2023. Yet, Honda keeps its stateside fans wanting.
The Honda NT1100 Still Won’t Make the Swim Across the Pond, Americans Everywhere are Sad
The NT1100 borrows its DNA from the Africa Twin, sporting a 1,084cc Parallel-Twin engine. For 2025, the engine’s tweaked with larger intake ducts, longer trumpets, and recalibrated injectors, keeping its 100 hp but boosting torque to 82.6 lb-ft. This revamp promises punchier midrange power. Emission updates include a fresh catalytic converter, misfire sensors, and Euro5+ compliance.
Visually, Honda’s sharpened its look—redesigned headlights, integrated turn signals, and a new one-hand adjustable windscreen. The detachable panniers now have more room too, boasting 37L on the left and 36L on the right, enough for full-face helmets.
For tech buffs, the NT1100 gets a six-axis IMU, supporting three ride modes and features like cornering ABS, traction control, and wheelie control. Opt for the DCT model, and you’ll find smoother low-speed handling and optimized shift points. DCT models also get an electronic suspension with Showa’s latest EERA system.
Other standard goodies? A 6.5-inch TFT display, smartphone connectivity, cruise control, heated grips, and more. It’s available in three sharp colors—Mat Warm Ash Metallic, Gunmetal Black, and Pearl Hawkseye Blue.
It’s everything we’d want—except, it’s still staying in Europe. Check it out at Honda’s European website.
