Ducati Multistrada V2 Could Get a Totally New Engine

Ducati Multistrada V2 updates are coming soon with maybe a new engine

According to some spy shots from a German publication, the Ducati Multistrada V2 will get a new engine, but it doesn’t sound like that is all that’s new for this bike. This is surprising to me because the Multistrada V2 isn’t that old, but hey, Ducati has to keep things moving along.

A New Engine in the Ducati Multistrada V2 Should Make it Even Better

There’s a new engine on the way, and if the spy shots tell us anything, this prototype is still clinging to that V2 layout. But forget what you know, because everything else seems fresh as a ripe tomato.

A full aluminum frame, new swingarm – something lifted from the Multistrada V4 – and a front end that’s been shuffled around like a deck of cards. New headlights, new turn signals, the works.

What I don’t know? When they’re going to make it official. But the rumor is Ducati’s got four other models up its sleeve, and those rumors say it has one of them heading for Intermot in Cologne on December 5th.

They’re calling the release “Unlock Everyday Adventure,” and if that doesn’t sound like a pitch for the next Multistrada, I don’t know what does. So buckle up – something wicked this way comes, and it’s probably not far off.
