I’ve reported on Curtiss Motorcycles’ The 1 electric motorcycle in the past, but now the company is offering a special, limited-edition 120-year anniversary collection. It’s basically a dressed-up version of The 1.
The 120-Year Anniversary Collection is Like No Other EV Out There
The limited edition motorcycles produced will feature a raw finish, which is unique to these motorcycles. Also unique will be the dye-free leather seat. To add a splash of color to your bike, buyers have the choice of French Blue, Bayou Green, Crimson Red, Tiger Yellow, and Pure White chassis panels.
The bike is being used to commemorate Glenn Hammond Curtiss, the man who gave the company his name.
“In 1902, our inspirational founder, Glenn Hammond Curtiss, invented the iconic American v-twin motorcycle,” noted Chambers. “Today, 120 years later, we are proud to introduce the 120-Year Anniversary Collection in honor of Glenn’s historic achievement.”
It’s important to note, that this new electric Curtiss Motorcycles has very little to do with the historic name. Matt Chambers, the current CEO and co-founder, started the company so he could do something different from his previous motorcycle company, Confederate Motorcycles—which is now Combat Motors and owned by Ernest Lee.
At any rate, if you want an innovative electric motorcycle that few in the world will have, this limited-edition of The 1 from Curtiss Motorcycles is waiting for you.
