Just when you thought the Royal Enfield 650 twin platform had explored every motorcycle niche, they dropped the 2025 Royal Enfield Classic 650.

Showcased at EICMA 2024, this model taps into RE’s heritage with their well-loved 650cc parallel twin, wrapped in a silhouette that echoes over half a century of Royal Enfield Classics.

The 2025 Royal Enfield Classic 650 Is More Than Just a Cool-Looking Motorcycle

Historically, the Classics were mainly single-cylinder machines—300, 350, 500cc—though a revamped Classic 350 has kept their legacy alive. Now, the Classic 650 steps up with double the punch, thanks to the 650 twin, yet retains the distinctive “frame-loop” as a nod to its lineage.

From a distance, the Classic 650 resembles its 350cc sibling. It boasts a vintage-inspired round LED headlight, a beautifully contoured fuel tank, curvaceous fenders, and classic wire-spoke wheels (19 inches front, 18 rear).

Chrome and polished aluminum highlight the headlamp and indicators, blending nostalgia with a dash of modernity, courtesy of sleeker fenders and proportions that complement the twin motor. Heftier tires and a longer wheelbase lend a refined presence compared to the 350. Tipping the scales at 536 pounds, it’s Royal Enfield’s heaviest offering.

Mechanically, it’s familiar territory: the 648cc parallel twin, six-speed gearbox, and slip-and-assist clutch from the Shotgun and Super Meteor 650 remain unchanged. The suspension is straightforward—43mm right-side-up fork and twin-tube shocks. Modern touches include full LED lighting, an analog/LCD display with a gear position indicator, and a Tripper unit as standard.

Available in four colors—Teal, Vallam Red, Bruntingthorpe Blue, and Black Chrome—the 2025 Classic 650 channels nostalgic vibes. Launching in Europe first, it hits North America in 2025, starting at £6,499 for select colors. Learn more at the Royal Enfield website.
