Moto Morini is reviving one of its icons with the all-new 3½, just in time for its 50th birthday.
The original Moto Morini 3½, launched in 1974, was Moto Morini’s first V-Twin and a game-changer in the 350cc market. Designed by Franco Lambertini, it roared past its thumper competition with a 344cc 72° V-Twin featuring flat Heron heads, making it one of the era’s most potent four-strokes, offered in Sport and Strada variants.
Bringing Back the Moto Morini 3½
Fast-forward to today and the 2025 3½ brings a fresh heartbeat—a Euro5+ compliant 350.3cc liquid-cooled 60° V-Twin with dual overhead cams and eight valves. With 32 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 23 lb-ft at 6,500 rpm, it targets European A2 license holders, not track domination.
The steel single-beam double cradle chassis is complemented by an aluminum swingarm. Up front, a 43mm inverted fork and rear preload-adjustable shock offer 4.7 inches of travel each.
Braking is covered by a single 300mm disc and radial four-piston caliper up front, and a 255mm disc with a two-piston caliper at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS.
Modern touches like LED lighting, a TFT display with navigation, and a trim 363-pound dry weight round out the package. U.S. availability remains uncertain, but Moto Morini would be wise not to skip it.
