Some motorcycles don’t just go places—they take you places. The KTM 790 Adventure is one of them. Back in 2024, KTM resurrected this middleweight ADV marvel with thoughtful updates that set the stage for serious exploration.
Now, for 2025, it’s getting even better with a suspension upgrade that strikes a balance between precision and versatility.
The 2025 KTM 790 Adventure Is Better Than Ever
Borrowing components from the outgoing 890 Adventure, the 2025 790 Adventure sports a 43mm WP APEX open cartridge fork up front and a WP APEX shock absorber in the rear.
The fork’s split function design separates rebound and compression damping between legs, with easy adjusters on top. Out back, the shock offers 200mm of travel, with a rebound adjuster and hand-adjustable preload for on-the-fly tweaks—ideal for switching between solo rides and two-up touring.
These updates build on the 2024 model’s momentum. That bike introduced reworked throttle bodies for smoother fueling, a knock sensor for low-octane fuel, and a refined Power Assist Slipper Clutch. KTM’s engineers even improved breathing with a new airbox, making the 790 Adventure ready for any road—or lack thereof.
Riders can also indulge in KTM’s PowerParts catalog, with options for protection, performance, and style. Two new colorways add to the 2025 model’s appeal, ensuring you’ll stand out while blending into the wild.
Set to hit dealerships in March, the 2025 KTM 790 Adventure is proof that KTM knows what adventure really means: the freedom to go anywhere, with no compromises. Learn more at the KTM website.
