The 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 may have struggled to steal the spotlight from its big brother, the Streetfighter V4 S, but the naked 2025 edition aims to rewrite the script. Introduced in 2022, this compact brawler might’ve debuted during peak hyper-naked mania. But 2025’s updates could finally bring the attention it deserves.
The 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 Will Make You Fall In Love
Enter the 2025 Streetfighter V2, a stripped-down version of the revamped Panigale V2. Available in both base and S trims, it sheds a remarkable 40 pounds, now weighing in at a dry 392 pounds. This puts it head-to-head with the likes of Yamaha’s MT-09 and KTM’s 990 Duke, but with Ducati’s signature flair.
Power comes from the new non-desmodromic, variable valve timing 90° V-twin, delivering 120 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and 69 lb-ft of torque at 8,250 rpm. It shares a monocoque frame and advanced six-axis IMU electronics suite, boasting cornering ABS, slide-by-brake tech, Traction Control, Wheelie Control, and Ducati’s Quick Shift 2.0.
Braking duties are handled by Brembo M50 calipers. The base model features Showa 43mm Big Piston Forks and a Sachs monoshock, while the V2 S upgrades to Ohlins NIX-30 forks and a lighter lithium-ion battery, tipping the scales at 386 pounds.
Price tags? $14,995 for the V2, $17,995 for the V2 S. Expect them in Q2 of 2025. Check out the bike on the Ducati website to learn more.
