The Ducati Panigale V2 has been reigning supreme in WorldSSP, thanks to Adrian Huertas and Nicolo Bulega. But for 2025, the Italians have upped the ante once again with a revamped Panigale V2—and an even hotter V2 S variant. This marks a new chapter as the first Ducati sportbike to ditch desmodromic valves, all in favor of a fresh V-twin engine.
The 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 Is Better Than Ever
The 2025 Panigale V2 packs a punch with 120 hp at 10,750 rpm and 68 lb-ft of torque at 8,250 rpm—modest by Ducati standards, a notable drop from the Superquadro predecessor. Yet, lap times tell a different story.
At Rome’s Vallelunga racetrack, it was only 0.2 seconds off the 2024 model’s pace, largely thanks to shedding 37.4 pounds. Weight savings, as Ducati knows, make all the difference.
Both models boast a monocoque frame. The base V2 features 43mm fully-adjustable Marzocchi forks and a Kayaba shock, while the V2 S upgrades to Ohlins NIX-30 forks and an Ohlins rear shock. Brembo M50 calipers handle braking duties. Ducati’s tech arsenal—cornering ABS, Traction and Wheelie Control, Quick Shift 2.0—comes standard, along with four riding modes and a slick five-inch TFT display.
Price tags? $15,995 for the V2, and $18,995 for the V2 S. Expect them in dealerships by late Q1, 2025. Check it out on the Ducati website.
