BMW isn’t slowing down after Toprak Razgatlıoğlu’s championship win, introducing a refreshed 2025 M 1000 RR that brings subtle design tweaks and significant engineering updates.
The Best BMW M 1000 RR Yet
While the sportbike looks similar, this BMW M 1000 RR has new carbon fiber winglets that add 33% more downforce at speed, from 16.8 lbs. at 93 mph up to a hefty 66.1 lbs. at 186 mph. The engine’s got a boost too, with a new compression ratio (14.5:1) and larger throttle bodies for better airflow, delivering 218 hp in Europe while the U.S. version sticks to 205 hp.
BMW didn’t just tinker under the hood. They’ve reworked the intake and exhaust valves, added oval-shaped exhaust ports, and redesigned pistons to handle the increased power.
The bike’s tech has also evolved, featuring a new Dynamic Traction Control with slide control and a Race ABS Pro with brake slide assist, perfect for tackling those corners.
There are two trims: the Basic with white paint and #60 for factory racer van der Mark, and the M Competition Package in Black Storm Metallic with #54 honoring Razgatlıoğlu, complete with a host of M Carbon and M Billet upgrades. The new M 1000 RR hits showrooms in Q2 of 2025, with pricing yet to be revealed.
