Check Out the 2025 Bimota KB998 Rimini

2025 Bimota KB998 Rimini

Bimota has pulled back the silk on its KB998 Rimini—a snarling race-bred creation distilled just enough to slip through the tight hoops of FIM homologation. “Production” feels almost too generous a term.

Bimota plans a mere 125 units by February 2025, another 125 by year’s end, with a final push to 500 by the close of 2026. Call it a tightrope act, but if they hit the mark, this Italian beast, which was briefly shown before, will grace the World Superbike grid.

2025 Bimota KB998 Rimini Is Ready to Go Fast

Under the skin lies a familiar heart: Kawasaki’s 998cc inline-four from the Ninja ZX-10RR, screaming out 197 hp at a dizzying 13,600 rpm and twisting out 81.9 lb-ft at 11,700 rpm.

But Bimota didn’t just borrow power; they gave it a new skeleton—a steel trellis frame paired with billet aluminum side plates, their signature dance of old-world art and cutting-edge tech.

Showa’s Balance Free Front Fork, with 5.1 inches of travel, keeps the KB998’s nose planted. Rear suspension? Likely Showa again, though specifics remain coy. Braking duties fall to dual Brembo Stylemas, as spotted on the ZX-10RR.

Meanwhile, Bimota’s racing team wrings data from Jerez tests, where riders Lowes and Bassani proved the KB998’s mettle, despite rainy delays at Aragon. Learn more at the Bimota website.
