Aprilia always makes cool motorcycles and the 2022 Aprilia Tuareg is the latest from the brand.
The new midsize ADV motorcycle is no joke, and it looks absolutely fabulous. This bike should sit between the Yamaha T7 and the KTM 890 Adventure or Husqvarna Norden 901, and fill one of the small voids left in the ADV market.
Let’s take a closer look at what makes this bike a special machine that you might want to consider.
2022 Aprilia Tuareg Situated Between Big Enduros and Middleweight ADVs
The new Aprilia Tuareg is based on the RS 660 and the Tuono 660 platform. It brings one of the best middleweight platforms to the ADV market.
What you get is a 412-lb curb weight, the same twin-cylinder engine found in the other bikes (making 80 hp), and APRC with ride-by-wire multimap electronics system (traction control, cruise control, engine braking, and multiple engine maps). Yeah, you guessed it, this motorcycle comes with four different ride modes.
Aprilia will offer the bike with a ton of accessories packages as well as a line of motorcycle apparel and gear.
The bike will be available in Q1 of 2022, and it will come with the following MRSP: $11,999 (Acid Gold and Martian Red), $12,599 (Indaco Tagelmust).

If you’re on the hunt for a used Aprilia, I suggest checking out eBay’s listings. You won’t find a Tuareg 660, but Aprilia has plenty of other killer bikes.
